With over 20+ years building, managing, and leading global technology products and consulting with leading edge companies such as IBM, RSA Security, EMC, DellEMC, MetLife, and TiVo. The variety of cultures and technologies that I have experienced and transformed at times provides a rich set of topics to discuss with the community. Outside of technology, there are experiences leading a team of chefs on an award-winning BBQ competition team that are so generally applicable to all industries.
Passionate about education, after my BS in Computer Science at the Watson School of Engineering at Binghamton University, I received my MBA from University of Maryland University College while working fully time at IBM. While working various roles across my career I have acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner, and ITIL certifications. Most recently, I have been enjoying attending Duke University Corporate Educations Adaptive Strategic Education Program where it has been one of the best post-MBA training regarding strategy and techniques for executives.
Don’t be surprised if you see me speak at some industry events / companies as well! I have recently spoke on program management, agile concepts, and technology topics at MetLife and the Office of the CIO at the NC Department of Insurance. I look forward to more engagements throughout the year.
